Charing Gardeners' Society meets throughout the year. Our programme consists of talks during the spring and Autumn months. In the spring and summer we organise outings and also the ever popular wine and wander events in local members' gardens. We also find time to run three competitive shows a year and put on a huge flower display in our marquee at the Charing Church Fete to help raise money for the church. Most years we also offer members training in general gardening basics and some special trainings for topics like fruit pruning, grafting or design.

Check our our programme for this year and pop along to one of our talks or a show, or contact us Contact us for more information.

We look forward to meeing you in the near future.

The society has had to cancel its events over the first few months of the pandemic. Looking forward and with the gradual easing of the lockdown, we hope to resume our events in some shape or form. The health and safety of our members has been our prime concern during the Covid-19 crisis and will continue to be until we feel it is safe to meet together again under government guidelines.

We are planning to take our July Summer Show online with a virtual show, have a talk by webinar or zoom in August and hope to be able to social distance safely while visiting gardens of our members later in the year.

Further updates will be posted here on the website but also see our newsletter page for monthly news updates.
