Inter-village Competition

We have an annual competition with Lenham where we compete against each other with a variety of items. This year is was;

1. Box of 6 vegetables

2. Large flowering begonia from corm supplied

3. Coffee and Walnut Cake 8" diameter

4. 2 x scotch eggs

5. 3 x stems of Dahlias

6. Jar of Strawberry Jam

Aly Pinnock and Karen Saunders collected the items from members and displayed them at the Lenham Garden Show. Disappointingly Lenham beat us again! although it was a close thing. Lenham Garden Society would like other gardening societies to join in with us next year. In the past it has involved Harrietsham but sadly they have been unable to participate for the past two years. Lets hope things change in 2023.
